A Little Bit Goes A Long Way™ is a nonprofit organization registered in the State of California. Our mission is to support young men through our outdoor mentorship program in the Bay Area. Beyond that, we’re committed to finding ways and opportunities to improve the living conditions for underserved communities in need around the globe.

Our Team
Boon Johnson, Founder
Boon, a musician and native of Oakland, California, is the brainchild and founder of 'A Little Bit Goes A Long Way™'. He is a devoted husband and father of four beautiful children. His desire to help people is deep-rooted in his faith in Jesus Christ as he strives to be the faithful servant as described in Luke 12:37. For Boon, God and family are the motivation and driving force behind all that he endeavors to accomplish. He has composed and recorded several world jazz albums, and has backpacked across many of the tallest mountains in California and Alaska.
Brian Sadler, Senior Insurance Risk Management Executive and CFO
Brian is a Senior Insurance Risk Management Executive, and Chief Financial Officer of ‘A Little Bit Goes A Long Way™️’. As Senior Vice President at Mark Edward Partners I offer Insurance Risk Management for select Ultra High Net Worth individuals, professional athletes, family offices, private equity, VC, hedge funds, non-profits, & multinational corporations across 92 countries worldwide.
Brian is a former investment banker who develops viable investment opportunities in areas including: technology start-ups, real estate, restaurants, night clubs, film and media projects. Past and present clients include countless entertainment celebrities and professional athletes. Notably, as an investment banker Brian managed equity and investment portfolio's for Los Angeles Lakers Owner Jerry Buss and the Buss family.

Camila Medina, Board Secretary
Camila Medina is currently an undergraduate student and the Board Secretary of A Little Bit Goes A Long Way. She is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Business Analytics with Minors in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of San Francisco. With a love for learning and helping others, she hopes through her work that she can provide avenues for others to find their purpose and reach their full potential.
Michael Blackmon II, Marketing Director
Michael is a Graphic Artist, Multimedia teacher, and Marketing Director of 'A Little Bit Goes A Long Way™'. Prior to his teaching career, Michael worked with Pixar Animation Studios as an illustrator and graphic artist. He worked directly with the Pixar Documentary team, and Pixar Theme Parks developing character illustrations for documentary shorts and graphic designs at Disneyland, Shanghai Disney, and Disney Paris. Michael strives to utilize his God-given talents to further the Kingdom of Heaven.
